On March-2-2002 Oly Hooks Into B.C's Largest Tagged & Released Sturgeon @ 11 foot 3 It took 3 of us & 5 1/2 hours to land this 140+ year old with the barbless bait hook nearly straight on capture. Twisting & splashing the old mighty sturgeon still wanted loose but once we had the 760+ Pounder to the beach it was the new Record. We are now proud to say that a combination of the Fraser River, good tackle & help can produce "THE BIG ONE" just like ours. *** CLICK HERE for Sturgeon Weight Chart *** |
